FRC Destination: Deep Space
In Destination: Deep Space, alliances race to place hatch panels on their rocket and cargo ship. Each alliance has 2 rocket ships, 1 cargo ship, and a habitat. 1 ranking point is added for each rocket ship filled with hatch panels and cargo. At the end of the match, the robots have to return to their three-tiered habitat.
Horse Force 1 features a continuous elevator and a claw. The claw was designed to pick up cargo as well as hatch panels. The robot was able to place cargo into all three levels of the rocket due to the continuous elevator. At the South Florida Regional, Horse Force 1 strategically competed through the qualifying matches leading the team to the alliance selections. The team played into the semifinals with teams 3932 and 1369.
